Saving Important Phone Numbers for Optimal Safety

Ensure the Alarm Center and X‑Guard can always reach you

At X‑Guard, our mission is “Everyone, Everywhere, Secured”. In an emergency, every second counts. That’s why it’s essential that you can always be reached for alarm calls from the Alarm Center or X‑Guard Alarm. By correctly saving and setting important phone numbers on your smartphone, you ensure you won’t miss a critical call — even if your device is on silent or Do Not Disturb.

Saving Important Numbers via the X‑Guard Alarm App

The key numbers can be easily saved directly from the X‑Guard Alarm App. This ensures these calls are recognized and treated as priority.

For both Android and iOS:

  1. Open the X‑Guard Alarm App.

  2. Go to the Menu (circle with three lines).

  3. Select Change settings.

  4. Tap Important phone numbers.

  5. Tap the blue arrows next to the numbers to automatically save them into your contacts.

Explanation of the Phone Numbers

  • Alarm Center: This is the phone number of the alarm monitoring center your system is connected to. When an alarm is triggered, this center calls you using this number. It’s important you save and recognize this number.

  • Alarm – X‑Guard: This is the number used by our automated system. You may be called from this number if, for example, we try to send an alert to your app but the app cannot be reached. In that case, the system will call you as a backup and you will also receive an SMS.

Android: Ensuring Calls Always Come Through

  1. Open the Contacts app and check that the X‑Guard numbers are saved.

  2. Mark the contacts as Favorites.

  3. Go to Settings → Sound & vibration → Do Not Disturb.

  4. Under Allowed Calls, choose Favorites so these numbers always come through, even in Do Not Disturb.

iPhone (iOS): Prioritising X‑Guard Calls

  1. Open the Contacts app and check that the X‑Guard numbers are saved.

  2. Add the numbers to your Favorites.

  3. Go to Settings → Focus → Do Not Disturb.

  4. Under Allowed Calls From, choose Favorites.

This ensures you’re reachable even when your phone is on silent.

Additional Safety Tips

  • Regularly check your settings. Updates can reset preferences.

  • Complete your profile in the X‑Guard Alarm App — address and photo help responders act faster.

  • If possible, avoid setting your phone to full silence.
