Add Zone in the X-Guard Management Dashboard

In the X-Guard Management Dashboard, zones can be added and managed to ensure efficient and targeted security. A zone can be a specific location, such as a bicycle parking area at Amarilstraat 20 in Hengelo, or a defined area within a building, such as a floor or a specific room.

Key settings when adding a zone

• Name and Address: Each zone is assigned a clear name and location, e.g., “Bicycle Parking Amarilstraat 20, Hengelo.”

• Static Monitoring: A zone can be linked to keyholders and security guards for regular or incident-based follow-up.

• Additional Information: Important details such as access codes, cameras, and door call systems can be added.

• Indoor Zones: Zones can be defined at floor level and linked to a fingerprint location system, allowing exact location tracking within a building.

Automatic switching and risk management

• 24/7 or specified time windows: Decide when security should be active, e.g., only outside regular working hours.

• Example – Overtime: Between 17:00 and 07:00, presence in the zone can be considered higher risk, triggering extra monitoring.

• More efficient security thanks to zone-specific settings

• Automatic risk detection and security level adjustment

• Indoor location tracking for accurate response
