Installation Guide Bluetooth Alarm Button

At X-Guard, we are committed to securing everybody anywhere. With the Bluetooth alarm button, you can quickly and easily raise an alarm in emergencies. Follow the steps below to correctly install and use your alarm button.

Step 1: Pairing the Bluetooth Alarm Button

• Enable Bluetooth: Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.

• Open X-Guard Alarm App: Launch the X-Guard Alarm App.

• Open Menu: Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top left corner.

• Change Settings: Select “Change settings.”

• Bluetooth Alarm Buttons: Go to “Bluetooth Alarm Buttons” and tap “Add button.”

• Start Pairing: Press and hold the button with the X-Guard logo for about 10 seconds until pairing is complete.

• Name the Button: Assign a recognizable name to the paired button.

• Assign Function: Select the desired alarm function:

  • Green Alarm: Test alarm

  • Orange Alarm: Assistance alarm

  • Red Alarm: Panic alarm

• Save: Tap “Save” to confirm the settings.

Note: The button contains a coin cell battery that lasts about two years. Regularly check functionality and replace the battery in time.

Step 2: Complete Profile and Save Important Numbers

• My Details: Go to “My details” in the app.

• Add Profile Picture: Tap the camera icon to add a photo of yourself. This helps responders identify you faster.

• Important Numbers: Go back to “Change settings” and select “Important phone numbers.”

• Save Numbers: Follow the instructions to save the numbers of the Alarm Centre and X-Guard Alarm in your contacts and mark them as favourites. This ensures you don’t miss important calls, even in “Do Not Disturb” mode.

Ready for Use!
Your Bluetooth alarm button is now successfully paired and ready.

Tip: Test pairing by pressing the button briefly. If the X-Guard icon in the app responds, pairing is successful.
